Since 2015 , the development zone has stepped up efforts to dismantle coal-fired boilers and at the same time accelerate the replacement of clean energy. Up to now, the development zone has dismantled 258 scattered coal-fired boilers, accounting for 92% of the total number of boilers , exceeding the staged tasks required by the superiors. At the same time, the construction of steam supporting projects for 4 furnaces and 4 machines of Hangli Thermal Power Plant was completed , and the Qibaiyang temporary gasification station was built to realize the gas ventilation of the "West-to-East Gas Transmission" pipeline, and the regional natural gas supply was effectively guaranteed. In 2017, the annual steam supply reached 1.6 million tons, and 8.07 million cubic meters of natural gas was added . The emission of sulfur dioxide in the development zone was reduced from 11,441.2 tons in 2015 to 2,000 tons in 2017, and the emission of nitrogen oxides was reduced from 1,914.2 tons in 2015 to 624 tons in 2017 . All scattered coal-fired boilers in the district will be phased out before November 30 . (Management Committee of Lishui Development Zone)
