         According to statistics, the existing heating area of ​​Yinchuan City is 105 million square meters, of which the heating area of ​​coal-fired boilers is 38 million square meters. In 2017, the Housing and Construction Bureau of Yinchuan City dismantled 150 coal-fired boilers for heating. Among them, there are 139 units with less than 10 steam tons and 11 units with 20 steam tons. However, there are 6 coal-fired boilers below 10 steam tons, because there are no large-scale heat sources around them, so they cannot be "dismantled and enlarged"; they do not have the conditions to implement "coal-to-gas" and "coal-to-electricity". In order to ensure the normal heating of residents in winter, temporarily I keep running a heating season. In 2018, according to the requirements of the Central Environmental Protection Supervision, Yinchuan City attached great importance to it and made special deployments, requiring 6 coal-fired boilers to be dismantled before April 20 to ensure the completion of the task on schedule.

        After completing the demolition of 197 coal-fired boilers below 10 steam tons, the Yinchuan Municipal Bureau of Housing and Urban-Rural Development will plan to dismantle more than 60 coal-fired boilers within the year in conjunction with the ongoing "East Heat Transfer to West" central heating project, leaving only a small number of 40 Boilers with a steam capacity of more than 1 ton are used as peak shaving and emergency backup heat sources. Except for special circumstances, in principle, they are no longer used for ignition.

       According to the "Heat Supply Master Plan of Yinchuan City", Yinchuan City will implement the "East Heat to West" central heating project, and adopt the "3+N" method, with the power plant on the east bank of the Yellow River, Xixia Power Investment Thermal Power Plant and Hanas Natural gas thermal power plants are used as the main heat source, and various methods such as auxiliary clean energy are used to realize urban centralized heating. At present, the "East Heat to West" central heating project is under construction, and the area east of Yinchuan City's Qinshui Street and south of Helanshan Road will be covered by the project. Xixia Electric Power Investment Co., Ltd. adopts combined heat and power to provide centralized heating for the area west of Qinshui Street. Outside the coverage of large-scale heat sources, natural gas and electricity are appropriately used to solve heating problems, and gradually realize coal-free heating in Yinchuan urban built-up areas, and strive to improve the air quality and ecological environment of Yinchuan. (Reporter Zheng Zheng)
